From 10 May, a new and exciting exhibition can be seen in 't New Nathuis. For this exhibition, we have invited a trio of artists. Three women, each with their own passion.
Come and enjoy our beautiful flower garden of no less than 4,000 m² full of flowers, plants and cosy spots to relax.
The whole of the Netherlands is dedicated to agricultural nature management. With a national campaign by BoerenNatuur Nederland, farmers show how they work on nature, biodiversity and landscape. You can participate in your region too! |

On 4 and 5 July, Gilze will enjoy beautiful cycling races during the 16th cycling weekend. For two days, riders will provide racing around the Bisschop de Vetplein in the centre of the village.

On Steenovensebaan near Dorst, Toon Thielen ran a traditional flower and plant nursery for 30 years. Around 20 years ago, Toon changed course; he wanted to return the land to nature.

On Saturday 4 July 2026, Ulivents will kick off the very first edition of this brand-new summer festival. From 7.00 pm to 1.00 am, you can enjoy live music from 100% Katoen, cold drinks and a great atmosphere. |

On Sunday 5 July, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., participants will trek into the area with a camera under the guidance of an IVN guide. Gathering is at 10:00 a.m. in Top Naeffdreef opposite house number 10. There is not much parking, but this way in the city it might also be easy for many to come by bike.

On Saturday 11 July, the ‘Merkske Wortel-Kolonie’ nature walk will take place, led by the IVN nature guides. The theme of this walk is: ‘In the footsteps of the vagrant’. The walk is approximately 11 kilometres long and follows the border between the Netherlands and Belgium.

The Summer Festivities attract visitors from both the Netherlands and Belgium and therefore have a lively, international atmosphere. The market is a fine complement to the festivities and invites you to look around and explore the village. |

The Hoge and Lage Vuchtpolders have traditionally been a wet, marshy area. Peat has been cut here, or ‘gemoerd’, since 1314. The name Moerdijkje and the various peat canals serve as a reminder of this period. Today, the Lage Vuchtpolder is one of Brabant’s most valuable wetland nature reserves.
