Do you want to not only experience summer, but also capture it? On this photo walk, you will have all the time you need to photograph the colourful flowers and insects of summer in the Drijflanen!

On Sunday 5 July, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., participants will trek into the area with a camera under the guidance of an IVN guide. Gathering is at 10:00 a.m. in Top Naeffdreef opposite house number 10. There is not much parking, but this way in the city it might also be easy for many to come by bike.

Gem within municipal borders

De Drijflanen - if you say that to the average Tilburger, they have no idea what you're talking about. Yet the area De Drijflanen is a gem within the municipal borders of Tilburg. As small as the area is, it has various biotopes, from meadows with pools, to woods, to even a tiny piece of heathland. A guarantee for beautiful nature shots.

Why a photo walk?

During our regular walks, we often find that participants would like to take more time to take photos. This is understandable, but difficult to combine within a regular walk. After all, nature does not wait: butterflies fly, birds do not sit still and sometimes you just want to capture that one flower from a different angle.

For this photo walk, we go into nature with a smaller format and lots of space for photography. Guides will be present who can tell something about the area and the plants and animals we encounter. There will also be guides who can help with technique and composition, so you can get the most out of your photo.
