Both walks are plotted by Natuur- en Landschapsvereniging Gilze en Rijen. Ommetje Leemkuilen takes you through the green and surprising countryside on the east side of Gilze, past De Steenfabriek and De Schaepsdyck, among other places. The route of ommetje het Klein Heike goes partly straight through farmland, west of Gilze.
