Lizanne Croonen from Wandel.nl made a beautiful evening walk especially for us. She walked one of the beautiful walking routes from the Top 8 most beautiful walks collection. Route 5 'Landgoederen en de Regte Heide' (11 km), where she was treated to nature's pops of colour, such as purple heather and rose-red skies. A beautiful route through the varied natural landscape between Riel and Goirle and the Belgian border. On this route, you pass Wijngaard Steenvoorde, through Landgoed het Ooievaarsnest, Landgoed De Hoevens, Riels Hoefke, past chapel 't Hoefke and De Regte Heide, with its mysterious and ancient burial mounds. Here you can really unwind and enjoy bird sounds and there is a good chance of encountering roe deer.
