A weekend of indulgent enjoyment in our beautiful, green region

Last March, the Toerisme De Baronie business association was represented at the cycling and walking fair in Utrecht. Visitors were able to take part in a competition to win an exclusive ‘Toerisme De Baronie’ package. From the many entries, Lilean and Marcel Lucassen from Limburg were drawn as the lucky winners!

The prize
Over the weekend of 7 and 8 July, the winner enjoyed their package, which included a luxury stay overnight stay, two hire bikes, a delicious lunch and a tasty dinner. This package was made possible by the Toerisme De Baronie sponsors: Van der Valk Hotel Gilze-Tilburg, Van Boxel Tweewielers, SMAAK and Herberg De Drie Linden. Many thanks for your generosity. After a lovely day, another surprise awaited us in our hotel room that evening: a parcel full of local delicacies. Lilean and Marcel: “We were pleasantly surprised by the De Baronie region, which was new to us. It’s so beautiful and welcoming here! And you can go on wonderful cycle rides through the woods and past the countryside. We’ll definitely be coming back here and will be recommending De Baronie to others!”
