You can park at the starting point, and there are a few places to eat and drink. Alphen was one of the Langstraat villages where a great deal of leather was tanned in the past. This route takes you past, amongst other things, a tannery and saddlery dating from around 1875. Along the way, you’ll also see a beekeeping centre, an old windbreak, the ‘t Zand nature lake, museums, chapels and a series of beautiful old farmhouses.
