To Sint-Anneke vur een manneke
Molenschot may be a small village, but there is plenty to do! Throughout the Netherlands, Molenschot is known as the village of Saint Anneke. Every year, buses full of pilgrims come to the chapel on 26 July. Mostly women, an occasional man, but they all come with a relationship or child wish. Many see their prayers answered, but whether it is because of Saint Anneke? Besides a visit to the chapel, the church and the long-gabled farmhouse of the Drie Linden are also nice to see. Highly recommended is the Tree Frog Trail. This educational footpath runs through a beautiful piece of nature with several pools where the tree frog lives again. At the end of the day or early evening, you can hear them croaking in abundance here.
