De Boodschap is the vibrant, cultural heart of Rijen, where all kinds of social and cultural associations can be found and you can attend many courses. It also hosts various theatre or film performances and spaces can be rented for events or business meetings. See the agenda for programming.

Almost every six weeks, a new exhibition is organised in the Boodschap by PAK. This is a collaboration between the Werkgroep Beeldende Kunst Rijen and the Gilze en Rijen municipality, and uses the foyer and corridors of the Boodschap. Participation in an exhibition is preferably for amateur painters or sculptors from (Gilze en) Rijen.
