The location of NATO Air Base Gilze-Rijen in Grensland De Baronie can be called special. With that, there is a lot to tell and show about aviation history. In the airbase's Tradition Room, you can learn all about the airbase itself. And what role it played in the Second World War and in the development of Dutch aviation. Inspired volunteers enthusiastically tell you about the huge collection, such as a rotor blade from an Apache, a Hellfire rocket, an onboard cannon, seat from a Chinook, jet engines, ejection seats and much more.

Opening hours
Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm to 3.30pm, walk-in from 1pm to max 2.30pm. Entry is free of charge.
Please arrive on time as the capacity of de Traditiekamer is limited. Full = full.
Before visiting, sign in at the main gate of the air base with a valid ID.
