From the route makers of Wandelgids Brabant
During this easy woodland walk, you stroll through the woods for quite some time and then you walk into hamlet Steenoven. Then you walk through the woods of the Duiventoren area and reach a lovely pond. Via bridges and grassy paths you walk to the Jacobushoeve and back to Steenoven, passing another beautiful estate. Along a path, across fields, you walk back to the village and terrace. Take a drink with you on the way; there are a few benches.
Smaak Lokaal is a trendy business in the centre of Rijen. The name refers to the multiple "premises" in which they welcome visitors, but also to the local partners they work with. They have the new trend in lunch. You can put together your own lunch to taste a bit of everything. Of course, you can also order a delicious sandwich, salad, sandwich or bouncer.
