The Fietsallee experience route
The Fietsallee is a gem for every nature and cycling enthusiast. This cycle path is wide, tight as a sheet and largely car-free. And winds 45 km along and through the largest continuous forest areas in Brabant. Remarkably, this cycle path runs along part of the historic trade route from Breda to Maastricht. Where once merchant travellers rode over sandy lanes with their goods at the risk of their lives, you are now cycling. A unique cycling experience!
Route Bels Lijntje
't Bels Lijntje (30 km) is a unique cycle path, situated on the route of the former railway line between Turnhout (B) and Tilburg. In 1993, this railway line became a tourist cycle path that crosses the national border no less than nine times. The cycle path runs 22 km across Dutch territory and 8 km in Belgium. While cycling, you can clearly see the difference between the two countries. You can decide for yourself where you start 't Bels Lijntje. Along the way, you cycle past twenty stopping points, each with a unique story.
