Hiking club Hart van Brabant organises Sunday, November 10, 1st hike of the winter hikes season 2024 - 2025.

It is for the 63rd time that the Tilburg Walking Sports Association is organising this series of tours. They will again start from café Boerke Mutsaers at Vijverlaan 2 in Tilburg for distances of 5 -15 - 25 or 35 kilometres. Starting time for the 35 km is 9.00 a.m. (together). (The other distances can start from 9.00 am to 11.00 am. All participants must have signed out by 5pm. For those participants who register before then, there will be a pennant specially designed for this series of walks as a souvenir. The next treks will be in: 2024 on 8 December and in 2025 on 12 January, 9 February and 23 February (this ivb carnival on 2 March). For each tour, people can choose the distance they want to walk. The distances are in different directions in the surroundings of Tilburg and mostly include the wooded surroundings of the region. On the 35-kilometre routes, there are 2 wagon rests plus a café rest. The 25-kilometre route has 2 café rests. The 15 route features one café rest. The routes head in the direction of Tilburg Zuid via the beautiful forest area of Stadsbos 013, the Oude Warande, Vredelust and towards the Regte heide in Goirle, where the 15 km. takes a turn to rest. The 25 and 35 km follow a nice stretch across the heath, where the 25 km goes to Goirle via a partly new route and new rest facility. On the Regte Hei, the 35 km. route goes on another loop and has its rest facility at the Roovertse Leij. One then walks via the beautiful forests of Gorp and Rovert back to Goirle.

This is where the runners of the 25 km rejoin and a little later the 15 km runners. They then return via the Blaakpark to the finish at Boerke Mutsaers. The participants of the 5 km have a special route and do not walk together with the other distances. This walk gives another taste of the splendour of autumn, but also possibly the winter conditions.

Entry fees: The entry fee for the 35 km. 6.00 euro without a reminder; for the other distances 4.00 euro without a reminder.

Members of walking sports associations receive a 1.00 euro discount. Registration with a souvenir is 1.00 extra per distance. It is also possible to register digitally in advance. The Hart van Brabant winter walk series also competes for the Tilburg Triple. This is a special reminder for participants from the Municipality of Tilburg.
