The city celebrates its birthday on Saturday 19 April, but Stadsbos013 is also celebrating an anniversary this year, turning 10. Therefore, guides from Stadsbos013 will take walkers through Tilburg's oldest cultural forest: the Oude Warande. Along the way, participants will hear and see what the Stadsbos is, how Oude Warande came into being and the landscape and natural values of this area. For enthusiasts, after the walk there will be a lecture 'Tilburg 216 years: a city to love' by Dr Tila Pronk, associate professor of social psychology at Tilburg University. This lecture will start at 3pm in the university's Cobbenhagen Building. For more information on this lecture, see our agenda.
