The Norbertiness Monastery of St Catharinadal is one of the oldest religious communities in our country. The monastery was founded in Wouw, but soon moved to Breda because of floods in West Brabant. Its heyday in Breda came to an end with the Reformation. The nuns left in 1647 to lock the 'Blauwe Camer' in Oosterhout. To this day, the Norbertiness sisters remain in Oosterhout in what is also known as the Holy Triangle.

The exhibition and the publication are an initiative of the City Archives of Breda, Stedelijk Museum Breda and the Stichting Grote Kerk Breda and are a tribute to the Norbertiness sisters of St Catharinadal Priory. An initiative and gift from the three municipalities: Oosterhout, Wouw (Roosendaal municipality) and Breda. The project is also supported by the Mastboom Brosens Foundation.

• Grote Kerk in Breda (until 24 April)
• Oosterhout Basilica (from 30 April to 11 September)
