The Candle Procession in Baarle-Hertog and Baarle-Nassau is the same as the one that takes place daily on the Esplanade in Lourdes. In Baarle too, the seven evocations from Bernadette's life are depicted. This is done by the school youth of both Baarles and the children from the Zondereigen church village. These children provide the classical part of the Candlemas procession and the portrayal of Bernadette Soubirou's life.
