IVN Evening walk Seterse Bergen
Friday evening, July 5, nature guides from IVN Mark & Donge walk through the Seterse Bergen in search of nocturnal sounds in the forest.
This walk focuses on observing nature sounds in twilight and darkness. Some animals become active only at dusk. It is a challenge to bring their sounds home. We hope to hear calling owls and the special rattling sound of the nightjar. Insects such as crickets and grasshoppers are also often heard. If lucky, we can also hear and recognise the yapping sounds of fox and roe deer.
Be surprised by the sounds of the night, of the animals that live here. We cannot predict what this evening will offer us, much will depend on the weather.
A small torch may occasionally be used pointed downwards for a while, but allow not only the ears but also the eyes to get used to the darkness.
Registration is possible until the day of the walk. After registration, you will receive information about the departure point.
The walk starts at 21:30 and lasts until 23:00/23:30. More information and the registration form can be found on our website.
