Film 'Maquette For Chaam'
'Maquette for a Chaam of the future' is a short film of about 25 minutes that tells the story of Chaam based on submitted memories of Chamenarenaren. The mayor of Alphen-Chaam has sent a letter to all inhabitants of Chaam. In it, they are asked to share a personal memory of a place in the village that is special to them. The submissions form the basis of the film, with the makers linking a selection of stories into one big new story. In doing so, they paint a picture of the ideal community for the future. The film was created in co-creation with more than 100 enthusiastic Chamenaren, including the mayor and members of the Chaams Cabaret. This unique film is accessible free of charge during the summer months and can still be seen until 2026. In winter, a flock of sheep stays there to make way for filmgoers in summer.
