Bike ride in honour of Pien
On 30 September last year, Pien Storm van Leeuwen (artist) from Chaam passed away. On Saturday 25 September, a bike ride will be held along her well-known poos places to commemorate her. In 2000, she came up with the idea of placing poems chiselled in stone by herself and others at carefully chosen places in nearby nature. IVN Mark & Donge (institute for nature education) organises the bike ride in the beautiful Markdal valley. The memorial ride starts at 2pm at the entrance of IJsvermaak, Bouvignelaan 3A in Breda.
