From 13 September to 23 October, an exhibition by Corrie van Nooij will hang in De Schakel. She creates paintings using the acrylic casting technique.

Let me introduce myself: "I am Corrie van Nooij, 63 years old, married to Peter. I have a daughter and a son and five lovely grandchildren. Being creative has always brought me a lot of pleasure and relaxation. In 2018, I discovered acrylic casting via a YouTube video. That's what I'm going to try, I thought. Playing with and mixing colours, trying out different techniques, practising a lot. No one painting is the same. In the meantime, I have already made a lot of works and I am very happy to be able to exhibit some of them in De Schakel!
