A new exhibition at Heemkring Molenheide, 'Leather of leather'. With Gilze and (especially) Rijen being true tanning villages, there is a lot to tell and show with this exhibition. For instance, you will find explanations about the tanning process and there are many photos of tanneries and shoe factories. An old cobbler's shop has been set up, with photos showing what the cobbler's work looked like. Of course, all kinds of materials made from leather are also on display.

The exhibition will be on display until 31 December, every first Sunday of the month, except August 2023. Admission is free and coffee will be ready.
