Royal Harmony Orpheus from Tilburg invites you to a concert with an innovative musical programme. Consisting of forgotten music from their own soil, a work not previously performed in the Netherlands from faraway Japan and a new commissioned composition by their globally recognised conductor and composer Hardy Mertens.

Listen to Twin Flames, specially composed by their own conductor. They will also play the Moorish march Habibi by Alfredo Anduix Rodríguez, Five Little Parades by Koos van de Griend and the spectacular Shin-Wa by Hiroshi Oghuri. This music is rarely played in the Netherlands.

Will you also come and enjoy this unique, surprising and varied programme? On 9 November, Orpheus will participate in a concert competition in Hoofddorp. This is an exciting musical challenge for which they want to prepare themselves perfectly. With the concert in De Schakel, they would like to offer you the opportunity to become acquainted with this innovative music in their home region, which they will perform at the top of their game!

Royal Harmony Orpheus will not be playing alone this evening. You can also enjoy the musical partner Muziekvereniging Vlijt & Volharding Alphen. They will join in and play a selection of music in preparation for their participation in the Dorpenconcours and the Bondsconcours, in which they will take part at the end of November. Pinocchio by Alex Poelman and Fantasia Helvetica by Jan van der Roost are the main components of their programme this autumn. After the concert, the harmony invites you to raise a glass together.
