On 3 March 2024, Gloria Athletics is organising its 12th Enclave Walk. A stunning (wooded) walk in the border region between the Netherlands and Belgium, with a choice of four distances: 5, 8, 13, 19 or 25 km. Halfway through the 13 km route, you can decide whether to shorten the route to 8 km or continue on to complete the full 13 km.

To participate in this tour, register here via the green arrow 'Register'. Online registration is possible from 4 January 11:00 until 2 March 22:00. It is also possible to register on the day itself at the starting location. Please note that registering on the day itself is 2 or 3 euros more expensive!

You will walk through forests, along farmlands and on trails where you will discover the beauty of the Baarle area. The routes have been chosen so that even locals can go on paths they have never been on before.
Besides crossing national borders (22 pieces of Belgium in Dutch territory and 8 pieces of the Netherlands in Belgian territory), you will walk past old farms, beautiful forest paths, signs with information on border situations, etc. Let yourself be surprised.

The Baarle area is flat with sometimes wide views and sometimes dense forestation. Many paths are unpaved, so you will see the most special parts of the Baarle area.
Along the way, rest areas are provided, where you can have coffee/tea/soft drink/soup with a snack and toilets are available.
At departure, you will receive a consumption voucher. This voucher can be exchanged en route or after the walk for a cup of coffee/tea or glass of soda or a glass of lager (no special beers etc.).
