Guided tour at Museum de Tannery in Dongen
Tour: 'Innovations within the tanning industry'.
October is the month of history. On Sunday, 29 October, Museum De Looierij is organising a guided tour on the above-mentioned topic in celebration of this month.
Kuip, laf, vat: three important terms within the tanning industry that describe, very succinctly, the development of leather tanning over the centuries. A guide will lead you through the Museum's Learning Route. So you can see, how leather tanning has developed over the past 150 years. From traditional small-scale domestic tanneries of the early 19th century to the large-scale sustainable leather producers of today.

The guided tour is free! You only pay for Museum admission, unless you have a Museum Card.
