Cultural evening in church Chaam
How is it possible that there are two foundation stones in the church of St Anthony Abbot? What art treasures can be found there? How can you see history visible and tangible in the church? What is the Geuzen path? Why is Anthony Abbot depicted with a pig and how many pigs are there actually in the church? Two master storytellers, Jacques Schram and Ruud Ringers, will tell you interesting stories, all sorts of anecdotes and show you all sorts of things. As 2026 will mark exactly100 years since this church building on Dorpsstraat in Chaam was inaugurated, we will open the church doors wide several times. On Tuesday 30 June at 7.30pm, we are organising a cultural evening and you are all welcome. Admission is free, there will be coffee, tea and sweets, and the evening will last one and a half to two hours. If you have always wanted to look inside and hear more about the building, we would like to see you on 30 June.
