Every third Sunday of the month, Natuurpunt Markvallei organises a free guided walk in the Wortel Colony. In this way, the nature conservation organisation aims to introduce interested visitors to the rich history of the protected landscape and the abundance of nature found here. Every third Sunday, a nature guide from Natuurpunt Markvallei is on hand to lead a group on a walk. The walk starts at 10.00 am at the De Klapekster Visitor Centre.
