Until Monday 6 April (Easter Monday), the temporary exhibition "If I look back" by Martien Hoevenaars will be on display at Museum de Looierij. Free admission applies in this space during opening hours. You can walk in at any time to view the beautiful paintings.
Sunday 22 February adds an extra dimension to this, Martien will be present and will be able to tell you all about his entire oeuvre. Martien Hoevenaars, a left-handed yet very talented kid, born in Dongen, eventually turned out well, literally and figuratively.
Martien before. Martien used to teach 4 days a week. That 5th day and all the other free hours, he used for his own developments in different techniques, styles and subjects. Time that was needed to concentrate and master free work and his passion for painting. A Dongen native with a fascinating story about his search for the Art that suited him.
On Sunday 22 February from 2pm to 3.30pm, Martien will be there for a 2nd time and will be happy to tell you about it and, of course, answer all your questions.
