The Bloodaxe Sibbe settles down for a weekend at the Iron Age Farm. This close-knit Viking group consists of a number of families who hang out together and where they come to practise their craft, trade and enjoy introducing others to Viking values. Were the Vikings fearless ferocious warriors, raiders and adventurers? Yes indeed! Were the Vikings lively, cheerful and hospitable? Yes indeed, they were!

They were skilled artisans, sociable talkers and clever traders, hard-working farmers, busy fishermen, tough sailors and...storytellers. Strong stories, as well as beautiful and exciting ones, about their lives, their beliefs and their travels. Which ones you will
hear, you will find out for yourself!

Also visit the potter's shop or look into the cooking pot of one of the families. Let the wisdom of the runes surprise you, negotiate with the woodworker or ask one of the warriors to explain to you how training is done. The children can get 'fighting lessons' and spar with a real Viking or view bones and skulls, paws and pelts of different animals. The merchants have collected, bartered, bought all sorts of things during their many distant voyages and have beautiful and useful things for sale. The Vikings of the Bloodaxe Sibbe welcome you to their temporary 'village'! The Iron Age comes to life
