This walk has been mapped out by the Gilze and Rijen Nature and Landscape Association (NLGR). You can park at the starting point and pick up a free leaflet. This short walk takes you partly through farmland. The route is named after Klein Heike, an area of both natural and historical significance: the hamlet of De Langereit, the Princenbosch and the culturally and historically significant farmstead De Oude Schouten Hofstad. Geocachers can also get stuck in here, as there are treasures hidden in Klein Heike!
