Oudheidkundig Streekmuseum Alphen

This museum is housed in a former Protestant church from 1820. You can view a collection of archaeological finds dating back to Roman times at the museum. Most of the finds were made during excavations of ancient burial mounds. For instance, you can see tools for hunting, jewellery and ancient coins. There is also a collection of items from the 19th and 20th centuries on display with costumes and finds related to the Second World War. The museum is definitely worth a visit if you like history. At the museum entrance, scan the QR code. While walking and looking around the museum, you can enjoy stories and images.
