In the beautiful Markdal in Strijbeek, you will find De BijenBoerderij. This renowned bee centre consists of an apiary with a gestation garden full of pollen- and nectar-rich plants. In the shop, you can buy beekeeping supplies and artisanal honey. Other options at De Bijenboerderij include: room hire for educational purposes, bee-related courses/workshops and children's parties. There is also a real beekeepers' café, where beekeepers regularly share their insights.
