From the route makers of Wandelgids Brabant
During this easy forest and heathland walk through the Chaamse Bossen, you stroll for quite some time on pretty forest paths and pass beautiful patches of heathland. You also walk along forest edges and then reach recreation area 't Zand. Here you walk along the recreational lake, with beautiful sandy beaches and via a lovely elevated path along the lake you walk back to the terrace.
't Zand food and drink is a cosy catering establishment at family campsite and recreation park 't Zand in Alphen. The park is situated next to a recreational lake where you can swim. It is located in a beautiful nature area with many cycling and walking routes.
The tavern is centrally located on the park and is also open to walkers and cyclists who are not staying at the park but would like to stop for a drink or a snack. This can be inside, by the fireplace or outside on the terrace.
In the surroundings, you can take beautiful walks. Walk 1735 of Wandelgids Brabant starts at taverne 't Zand. All walkers are welcome!
