This BIG BAND from Breda, led by Daan Bogers, is kicking off our season with a BIG BANG. The band is regarded as one of the best big bands in the southern Netherlands.

The band performs a varied repertoire of instrumental and vocal pieces in a full big band line-up, complemented by vocals. As well as classic big-band jazz, the programme also features funk and fusion, performed in a dynamic and narrative style, with impressive solo work from various band members. The vocals are provided by the experienced vocalist Ewoud Feenstra.

The programme on 4 October will also feature a number of tracks from video games. The band recently recorded a number of soundtracks for a newly released computer game and delved into this fascinating topic, in which music plays a particularly significant role.
