On 26 February, WTV Alphen is organising the MTB cycle race Classique d'Alphen. At recreation area 't Zand in Alphen, the starting gun will be fired at 10.00 am for a race over approximately 40 km. There will be races in various age categories and also a separate classification for the ladies. There are great prizes for each classification, and for the overall classification there are some extra prizes to be given away. The race can be run on a mountain bike or a cyclocross bike (cyclocross bike). The large number of participants in previous editions shows that many mountain bikers like the competition.
