The Fietsallee was opened last year and since then this beautiful cycle path has been well used, users are enthusiastic. We were commissioned by the municipalities of Alphen-Chaam and Gilze and Rijen to ensure that the Fietsallee becomes a tourist product with supra-regional appeal. The tourist association consists of entrepreneurs and agencies from the region active in the leisure economy. To this end, we are working together with Staatsbosbeheer, LandStad De Baronie and both municipalities. After consultation with all stakeholders, there should be a concrete comprehensive plan in a month's time. The starting point is to make De Fietsallee a 'Top Cycling Experience'.
